Welcome to Papa’s Diner — where bold flavor meets Southern comfort and breakfast is served all day.

What began as a passion project for Owner and Head Pit Master Jeff Fitter has grown into a beloved local favorite. Jeff’s journey started on the competitive BBQ circuit, where his dedication and award-winning techniques earned him a loyal following throughout the St. Louis region.

In 2017, Jeff acquired the legendary Super Smokers BBQ and continued to grow its footprint with catering and a BBQ food truck. In 2023, the restaurant made a major move from its original barn to a larger, more accessible location in the old Steak 'n Shake building off the outer road in Eureka — just a stone’s throw from Six Flags.

With the new location came more than just a bigger space. Jeff expanded the menu to include fries, Cajun-inspired dishes, and new Southern classics — blending the smoky BBQ roots with rich Louisiana-style flavor.

In 2025, Super Smokers BBQ officially rebranded to Papa’s Diner featuring Super Smokers BBQ + Cajun, a name that reflects our warm, family-focused dining experience and broader menu, including breakfast served all day, house made smash burgers, and the classic award-winning BBQ from Super Smokers BBQ + Cajun. While the name may be new, the heart and heat behind the smoker remain the same.
